Admission Criteria:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicants should exhibit substance abuse issues suitable for outpatient care.
Successful Discharge Criteria:
- Completion of a 10-week program.
- Demonstrated understanding of addiction as a disease.
- Fulfillment of all program assignments.
- Regular attendance at 12-step fellowship meetings.
- Negative results in random alcohol/drug screenings, particularly if court-referred.
- Demonstration of personal accountability and reduced reliance on defense mechanisms/excuses.
- Development and completion of a relapse prevention plan.
Admission Criteria:
- Offender must be 18 years of age or older.
- Offender must be male.
- Offender must have committed a domestic violence offense.
- Offender must not have pending domestic violence charges in the legal system.
- Offender may be either a voluntary or involuntary referral.
Successful Discharge Criteria:
- Offender has completed 40 weeks in the program.
- Offender has not displayed any domestic violence behaviors for at least a month prior to discharge.
- Offender has completed all program assignments.
- Offender has demonstrated appropriate problem-solving and communication skills during group sessions.
- Offender has actively participated consistently and initiates comments in group discussions.
- Offender has acknowledged and taken ownership of all known domestic violence offenses.
- Offender has maintained consistent attendance and has made up any unexcused absences.
- Offender maintains a self-focus and can identify and express their feelings in a non-blaming and non-threatening manner.
- Offender is capable of recognizing their defenses and identifying their behavior in terms of controlling and abusive behaviors.
- Offender can recognize their cognitive distortions.
- Offender has consistently utilized time-outs when necessary.
Admission Criteria:
- Offender must be 18 years of age or older (transitional services are available for younger offenders).
- Offender must have committed a sexual offense and has been adjudicated.
- Offender is not residing with or having contact with the victim(s).
- Offender's mental health or substance abuse issues are stabilized.
Successful Discharge Criteria:
- Offender has successfully completed all program assignments.
- Offender has demonstrated consistently improved levels of insight/ownership, accountability, and victim empathy as judged by the clinical team based on behavioral observations.
- Offender has acknowledged and taken ownership for all sexual offenses (consistent with the Pre-Sentence Investigation/Offender Background Investigation).
- Offender has developed a comprehensive relapse prevention plan and demonstrates evidence of implementing the plan.
- Offender has demonstrated evidence of stability regarding housing, employment, relationships, AOD recovery, etc.
- All members of the treatment team must agree to the offender's compliance with the above criteria.
