Lisa Rhees

    Executive Director

    MA, MSW, LISW-S

Lisa has been serving as Executive Director of Specialized Therapeutic Offender Programming (STOP), Inc. in Columbus, Ohio for the past 18 years.  She has worked with substance abusing and chemically dependent clients and juvenile and adult sex offenders for the past 26 years.  Lisa has provided trainings on working with sex offenders for the Franklin County Municipal Probation Department, the Columbus, Ohio Police Department, the Franklin County Adult Probation Department, The Ohio Corrections and Court Services Association, the Midwest Regional Hostage Negotiators Conference, and the United States Department of Federal Probation .  She also teaches continuing education courses on working with sex offenders and on Ethics for The Ohio State University.  She is a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and has presented at the ATSA International Research and Treatment Conference in Toronto, Canada.

MIchael Brown

    LCDCII, ICADC

Mike has been a Long Term Residential Counselor and Outpatient/Intensive Outpatient Counselor for Columbus Public Health, Crossroads and the Franklin County Municipal Court.  His education includes stops at Rutgers, Ohio University and Columbus State.  Mike has received the Walter and Marian English Award,  the Randall Dana Award (Adamh Board of Franklin County), a Community Service Award (House of Hope), the Service Provider of the Year (Franklin County Municipal Court Mental Health Court), a Service Award (Franklin County Municipal Court Veteran’s Court) and a Rise to Challenge Award (Veteran’s Administration, Columbus, Ohio)

Ali McGucken

    MSW

Ali is a licensed social worker who earned her Masters of Social Work at the Ohio State University. Her previous experience includes individual and group therapy at a residential treatment facility for adolescent sex offenders as well as service coordination for the YMCA's housing program. She has been with STOP, Inc since May of 2016.
