Adult Sex Offender Program
(For both male offender and female offender programs)
Admission Criteria:
- • Offender must be 18 years of age or older (transitional services are available for younger offenders)
- • Offender has committed a sexual offense and has been adjudicated
- • Offender is not residing with or having contact with the victim(s)
- • Offender's mental health or substance abuse issues are stabilized
Successful Discharge Criteria:
- • Offender has successfully completed all program assignments
- • Offender has demonstrated consistently improved levels of insight/ownership, accountability and victim empathy as judged by the clinical team based on behavioral observations
- • Offender has acknowledged and taken ownership for all sexual offenses (consistent with the Pre-Sentence Investigation/Offender Background Investigation)
- • Offender has developed a comprehensive relapse prevention plan and demonstrates evidence of implementing the plan
- • Offender has demonstrated evidence of stability regarding housing, employment, relationships, AOD recovery, etc.
- • All members of the treatment team must agree to the offender's compliance with the above criteria
