Adult Sex Offender Program

(For both male offender and female offender programs)

Admission Criteria:

• • Offender must be 18 years of age or older (transitional services are available for younger offenders)
• • Offender has committed a sexual offense and has been adjudicated
• • Offender is not residing with or having contact with the victim(s)
• • Offender's mental health or substance abuse issues are stabilized

Successful Discharge Criteria:

• • Offender has successfully completed all program assignments
• • Offender has demonstrated consistently improved levels of insight/ownership, accountability and victim empathy as judged by the clinical team based on behavioral observations
• • Offender has acknowledged and taken ownership for all sexual offenses (consistent with the Pre-Sentence Investigation/Offender Background Investigation)
• • Offender has developed a comprehensive relapse prevention plan and demonstrates evidence of implementing the plan
• • Offender has demonstrated evidence of stability regarding housing, employment, relationships, AOD recovery, etc.
• • All members of the treatment team must agree to the offender's compliance with the above criteria
